Loading ...ATD2 FAR XM Range series are a series of compact sealed, active, 3 way design, high resolution control room monitor with very accurate bass/low-medium reproduction that allow for easy room placement and for flush mounting against a wall.
All systems include high quality analogue Class D amplification and powerful DSP and all models allow for direct monitoring via AES/EBU and include very high quality balanced analogue inputs.
For a consistent sound signature throughout the series they all share the same CACTM (Center Acoustic Coherence) Mid-range-Tweeter assembly which virtually acts as a point source
All of the filters, slopes and equalizers are implemented in the digital domain to guarantee the highest accuracy and stability and for perfect repeatability from speaker to speaker and from listen room to listening room.
FAR’s PC software controls the acoustics of the room making it is possible to configure up to seven loudspeakers and two subwoofers and control of the audio parameters, the setup information as well as for any future upgrades via a Cat 5 network.
