Roger Nichols has been designing DSP software for his personal use since 1981. [...] Säg att jag har en låt med gitarr, bas, sång och trummor. Det första vi bör göra är att se till så att kombinationen bas, sång och trummor fungerar. Det behöver inte låta supertajt men vi vill ha någorlunda bra nivåer. Efter att man har gjort det så kan man långsamt höja gitarren tills man tycker det låter bra. Om man tycker att gitarren tar över sången för mycket kan man lägga en frekvensanalys på både sång -och gitarrspåret. Ett program som gör det är VST-pluggen Inspector (finns gratis att ladda ner här) [...]
