Indiginus’ new Kontakt 2 and Akai instrument downloads
Indiginus announced four new special instruments for Native instruments Kontakt 2 available as downloads.
Blue Ridge Acoustic Guitar
A 1955 Martin™ D28™ was sampled in order to create the “BlueRidge” instruments from indiginus’ Acoustic Guitar Collection™. We believe the sound and playability of our sampled guitar collection rivals that of any other library out there, no matter what the price. This ‘lite’ version of the BlueRidge contains fewer keygroups than the full version, but still sounds great, with up to 4 velocity-switched layers.
Nashville Electric Guitar
A snappy, aggressive electric guitar for country, blues, R&B, and rock styles. Mutes at low velocities, 2 sustain velocity layers, and an additional layer of drones at high velocities for playing leads and fills. These drones play the next octave or 5th in
the scale, creating harmonies that do not respond to pitch bend. For instance, if you pitch-bend a note from a Eb3 to an E3 (in the key of C using Nashville E Gtr Cmaj), then a G3 will also play (without bending), creating a very realistic guitar lick!
Metal Electric GuitarThe indiginus Metal Electric Guitar actually consists of two sampled electric guitars, which can be played separately or together in the same program. The first guitar, ‘MetalStrat’, has a heavy, darker tone, while ‘Roculus’ is brighter and more present. Both guitars are contained in the program ‘Roculus Maximus”. All guitars have velocity-controlled mute, sustain, and power chord layers, with key-switching versions for Kontakt 2 users.
Classic Electric Pianos
Two classic instruments were sampled:
- a Rhodes 73, with it’s bell-like shimmer,could also be aggressive;
- a Wurlitzer Model 200, aggressive enough to push through a wall of sound and still be heard!
All instruments are available as downloads for Native Instruments Kontakt 2 and all Akai samplers from S5000 to Z-series.
Our goal is to leave you with the feeling that you got much more than you paid for!
You’ll find in-depth demos and a user guide (with list of instruments) for each download at our website: http://www.indiginus.com
