About ‘Cycling'74’ category

The name Cycling ‘74 comes from a 1974 bicycle catalog from which some of the images that decorated our original site were, uh, inspired (scanned and modified).

Cycling ‘74 was founded in 1997 by David Zicarelli to sell some of the software he had lying around the house. The company currently has 22 full- or part-time employees and consultants scattered around in various places, mostly in the San Francisco Bay Area

They are the creators of the well known Max / Msp / Jitter audio-video tools, and also Pluggon, Hipno, Mode etc other audio synths and effects to name a few.
